Brief: Hilary wanted a modern, minimalist kitchen with lots of storage, and most importantly, an island for cooking and preparation.
Design: The open plan living area encompasses a compact kitchen with plenty of storage facilities. The kitchen itself is bright and fresh while still blending with the living space. The island is designed to allow the chef cook and prepare and also have plenty of room for dining. It is a very social and inclusive design with the glass extractor drawing the eye and creating an important focal point.
