Kitchen Design Trends 2023 – Part 1

Design Ideas

Earthy tones for a calming atmosphere

Rich blues and greens will become even more popular in 2023; both have a strong connection with the richness of nature and are described as refreshing and tranquil colours. We predict that our newest Black Green will make a real statement and bring the wow factor to a kitchen. It is a very strong and distinctive colour which will balance with both warm and cool accents. Black Green will look best in large open spaces or areas with high ceilings and will be a perfect way to showcase your personality.

“The colour palette for next year is a mix of earth-derived tones that welcome a sense of calm. These colours are warm and natural-looking and they provide a great contrast to the wood tones we have seen returning to the cabinetry. A perfect combo!” says Gintare Matel – Assistant Manager at Kube.

Natural timber tones for warmth and texture

We are seeing a big demand for timber in the kitchen, especially oak options. The addition of woodgrains is one of the best ways to add warmth, texture and personality to a kitchen. However, it is important to understand of how much timber being used in the kitchen design and how it will relate to the other elements in that space. We believe that the timber designs look better when they are partnered with a white or grey – it is an absolute classic. The little introduction of subtle accents in black or gold will give the entire scheme a point of difference.
